Eros in the City

The Invisible Architecture of Life

Before the first star was lit, a possibility already existed.

Before the first ocean met the land, a direction already existed.

Before any human being pronounced the word love, there already existed the silent force drawing together whatever was destined to create more Life.

We call that force Eros.

Research themes

The questions this work is built on

Regenerative leadership

How organizations stop extracting and start regenerating people, relationships and ecosystems — and what that asks of those who lead them.

Complexity and living systems

How Life creates order without losing freedom. Biomimicry, living systems theory and what nature teaches about governance.

Development of consciousness

Stages of adult development, Integral Theory and the unrepeatable perspective each person brings into the world.

Relational fields and culture

Why every act of leadership, every family and every company produces an invisible field — and how those fields become the architecture of visible reality.

Ethics, technology and artificial intelligence

What remains human once machines calculate better: presence, vulnerability, responsibility for a unique perspective.

ESG and regenerative governance

From compliance to regeneration: how metrics, risk and governance can serve flourishing rather than merely mitigate harm.

About

Marcela Argollo

Researcher, writer, professor and speaker devoted to investigating the invisible architecture of life's flourishing.

Her work brings together regenerative leadership, complexity theory, the development of consciousness, philosophy, science and wisdom traditions to explore one central question: how does Life create order without losing freedom?

A specialist in Regenerative Leadership and in building organizations able to regenerate people, relationships and ecosystems, she works at the intersection of consciousness, complex systems and human evolution. She holds a Master's in Education and a degree in Business Administration, with specializations in Finance, ESG, Governance and Risk Management, training in Integral Theory and Complex Environments from the MetaIntegral Foundation — Ken Wilber, and training in Psychoanalysis.

Her research is deeply influenced by Radical Kabbalah, biomimicry, living systems theory and the dialogue between science, spirituality and philosophy. Inspired by the Solomonic tradition as a symbolic lineage of wisdom, she investigates the relationships between the Tree of Life, mathematics, consciousness, intimacy and the invisible principles that organize reality.

Author and editor of books and bestsellers on leadership, regeneration and ESG, she has developed her own approach, understanding leadership as a practice of developing consciousness and of creating relational fields able to sustain the flourishing of life.

She is the founder of Eros in the City, an international movement investigating Eros as the organizing intelligence of Life. Her mission is to contribute to a civilization in which consciousness, beauty, responsibility, intimacy and love stop being ideals and become living principles.
